Article 1. (1) These Terms and Conditions are intended to regulate the relationship between Lotse ltd and the visitors of the website www.lotse.org (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).
(2) By accessing and loading the Site, visitors agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and any subsequent changes to them, and they are obligated to comply with them.

Article 3. The Lotse website provides visitors with information about Lotse’s activities and services, as well as access to published news and materials.
III. Intellectual Property
Article 4. (1) All publications on the Site are the exclusive intellectual property of Lotse and are protected by the Copyright and Related Rights Act. They may not be used in any way without the prior written consent of Lotse.
(2) Images and other visual elements on the Lotse Site, which represent Lotse’s intellectual property, may not be used or reproduced by third parties in any way without the prior written consent of Lotse.
(3) Any unauthorized use of the materials published on the Site without Lotse’s permission constitutes an infringement, for which the violator will be held liable under civil, administrative, and criminal law in accordance with applicable Bulgarian legislation.
Article 5. (1) Lotse does not permit the use of the Site’s content in any way, including the display of all or part of the materials published on the Site, on another website.
(2) Linking to materials on the Site from other websites is permitted, provided it is done in accordance with good practices and commercial standards, and if the reference and the way it is presented do not cause any confusion regarding Lotse’s authorship of the materials, ensuring that visitors are not misled.
Article 6. (1) Lotse takes measures to protect the personal data of visitors in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act and the Privacy Policy published on its website.
(2) Lotse does not send identifying information to third parties and does not require registration for visitors to use the Site.
(3) By providing personal data through the Site, visitors agree to receive a newsletter sent by Lotse to the email address they provided for correspondence.
(4) From May 28, 2018, which is the starting date for the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), consent for the processing of personal data is explicitly obtained from the visitor, in writing, and for each specific case.
Article 7. (1) These Terms and Conditions may be amended by Lotse at any time, and Lotse will promptly publish the amended Terms and Conditions on the Site, along with a notice to visitors regarding the changes made.
(2) Changes to these Terms and Conditions will apply to all visitors to the Site from the moment they are announced by Lotse.
Article 8. (1) Lotse provides access to the content of the Site as is and does not guarantee that the guidelines in the materials on the Site will lead to the results expected by visitors.
(2) Lotse is not liable for damages and lost profits of visitors caused by materials published on the Site.
(3) Lotse is not liable for damages caused to third parties by visitors as a result of using the Site and the materials contained therein.
VII. Other Provisions
Article 9. Visitors to the Site are required to adhere to ethical standards and not to damage the reputation of Lotse when using the Site and its materials.
Article 10. For issues not covered by these Terms and Conditions related to the performance and interpretation of this agreement, the provisions of the applicable legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria shall apply.
Article 11. These Terms and Conditions come into effect for all visitors to the Site as of January 1, 2025. In case of any discrepancies between the English translation and the Bulgarian version, the Bulgarian text shall take precedence and be considered the binding version for any claims or disputes.
